I moved to Lloydminster in August 2004 to attend Lakeland College, where I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in accounting.
I began articling with a public accounting firm in Lloydminster in 2009 and obtained my Chartered Accountant designation in 2012.
Since then I have worked with a variety of small to medium sized, owner operated private corporations.
In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing a variety of sports, namely curling in the winter and golfing in the summer.
I have been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2012. I really enjoy donating my time to such a great organization. I also sit on the board of directors for Kidsport Lloydminster as their treasurer.

Jesse Handel CPA, CA

I was born in Lloydminster and raised on our family farm just north of the city. I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting through Lakeland College.
Once I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce degree, I began articling with a firm in Lloydminster and obtained my Chartered Accountant designation in 2012.
I have worked with a large number of small and medium sized owner-operated companies in all types of industries. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and helping them understand their financial statements which can help them succeed in their respective business. I also have extensive training dealing with estates and terminal (year-of-death) income tax return preparation.
When I am not working, you can find me either on the golf course in the summer or watching hockey in the winter.
